Zoho Data Migration
Straits Partners moves your records from spreadsheets, accounting packages and other systems into Zoho. We clean and map the data, run a trial import, reconcile counts and balances with you, and only then run the final migration. The aim is a clean start in Zoho: counts and balances are reconciled with you before go-live, and anything that does not match is investigated.

Frequently asked questions
What data can you migrate to Zoho?
Typically customers, contacts, leads, deals, items, stock, opening balances, vendors, invoices, employee records and attachments. We confirm the list for each project during assessment.
Can you migrate from Tally?
Yes. We migrate masters and balances from Tally and other accounting packages into Zoho Books, then reconcile the trial balance with you.
How do you protect our data?
We handle data only for the agreed purpose, share it through controlled channels, keep it out of public tools and delete working copies when the project ends. The details are agreed in writing.
Will our current system stop during migration?
Usually only for a short freeze before the final import. We plan the timing with you so that business hours are not disrupted.
What if the migrated data has errors?
That is why we run a trial first and reconcile before cut-over. If an error is found after go-live, we correct it under the agreed support terms.
Do you migrate historical transactions?
Where it adds value, yes. For accounting we often migrate opening balances and the current financial year in detail, with earlier years summarised. We recommend what fits your needs.
